Babysitting Meadow...all by ourselves!

I've been lucky enough to see Meadow a couple of times in recent months...which leads to a lot of firsts for me!

Recently, Erin needed a free afternoon to run some errands, so Bhrett and I offered to take care of Meadow for a few hours. We had a blast! Let me just say, life with a 2-year-old is no joke. All the activities I had planned for us either freaked her out (ie. swinging in the hammock) or she had zero interest in doing (ie. taking a nap! ha!).

Instead, we did what Meadow wanted to do which included everything from picking tomatoes out of Bhrett's garden, to rocking in the chairs on the front porch, to playing with Mrs. Potato Head, and then simply running endlessly from the living room, to the kitchen, through the dining room and back around again!

She is such a joy to be around, but I was absolutely exhausted by the time Erin picked her up. I give Erin a tremendous amount of credit - I don't know how she has the time and energy to care for two! And the diapers, oh, the diapers...

Fortunately, it was a beautiful day outside and we were able to hang out in the back yard a good bit. Here's a pic of Meadow "feeding" and "burping" our yard bunny, Wally.
