Jen Lancaster Book Signing!

As part of my 30th birthday extravaganza-week-long-might-as-well-make-the-most-of-it celebration, I'm taking myself to the Jen Lancaster book signing at the Barnes & Noble in Buckhead on Friday, May 15th.

I've never been to a book signing before - CRAP! I as write this, I remember that I HAVE been to a book signing! How could I possibly forget about meeting Vera Wang when she signed my copy of Vera Wang on Weddings? How quickly I forget that, like the Wizard of Oz, the 'Great and Powerful' Vera Wang actually wrote the Bible on weddings that I poured over, cover-to-cover, while planning my own fairy tale wedding! Geez. Anyway, I guess the Pretty In Plaid book signing won't be a first for me, but I digress.

I'm sure my friends are tired of hearing me talk about Jen's books, but I love her and I can't help it. In case you haven't heard, Jen Lancaster is the author of Bright Lights, Big Ass, Bitter Is The New Black and Such A Pretty Fat. She is so hysterical and her books are quick, easy, girly reads. Bhrett thinks I'm crazy, but on more than one occasion, I've actually sat up in bed and cried with laughter - no joke.
